Sloppy Smoky Sub by Victoria Belibassakis

INGREDIENTS
- 8 oz lean ground beef
- 1 chopped yellow onion
- 2 finely chopped garlic cloves
- 2 tsp olive oil
- 4 tbsp Culina Domus Smoky Tomato
- 2 7"submarine bread
- 4 slices smoked gouda (or cheese of your choice)
- 1/4 iceberg lettuce thinly chopped (or for a twist chopped arugula)
- 1 tomato cubed
- Salt and pepper
INSTRUCTIONS
Pre-heat oven to 450°F
Heat the 2 tsp of olive oil on medium heat and saute the onion until translucent, then add garlic until soft. Careful not to let the garlic burn. Add in the ground beef, pinch of salt and pepper and cook well. Turn off stove and add 4 tbsp of Culina Domus Smoky Tomato, and mix well.
Cover to keep warm.
Carefully cut the submarine bread, but not completely through. Open up the bread and place 2 slices of the cheese of your choice.
Place in oven until cheese is melted and bread is golden brown.
Place your bread on a plate and fill with 1/2 the meat mixture, then add finely chopped iceberg lettuce or arugula, then the cubed tomatoes, and finally drizzle Culina Domus Smoky Tomato on top.
Repeat and enjoy!
